The Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP) is a £1bn+ programme funding clean energy innovation across multiple technology areas. Strands include: offshore wind, hydrogen and fuel cells, long-duration energy storage, carbon capture and storage, nuclear, smart systems and flexibility, and buildings/heat. Different competitions run throughout the year at varying grant sizes. Early-stage through to demonstration scale.
